The King and his Three DaughtersOnce there was a king who had three daughters. One day the king was sad. His eldest daughter came and asked him, "Why are you sad?" The king answered," I’m sad because you don’t love me." "I love you, Dad, his daughter said. "I love you like bread." The king heard and was happy. After a while the king was sad again. The middle daughter came and asked," Why are you sad?" The king answered, "I’m sad because you don’t love me." "I love you Dad", his daughter said. "I love you like water." The king heard and was happy again. Sometime later his youngest daughter asked," Why are you sad?" The king answered," I’m sad because you don’t love me. " "I love you Dad, like salt" the little daughter said. "Like salt," the king answered angrily. "Go away! You are a bad girl." The king chased his daughter away from home. The daughter left the palace and walked until she met a prince. The prince asked her," Why are you sad?" The princess told him the story. The prince took the princess to his castle and had a big party. He invited the king to the party. Before the party the prince said to the cook, "Make the food without any salt." All of the guests began to eat. Suddenly the king said, "the food is no good without salt." The king asked the cook, "Why is the food without salt?" The cook answered,"I cooked it without salt." The king asked again, "Who ordered you to do this?" "I did." The king heard a familiar voice. He turned and he saw his daughter.
